The Brighton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Exchange (BJJX) is a martial arts school founded by the great Marcus Trower. Marcus founded the school because he wanted people in Brighton to have an affordable option when looking to take up BJJ. This is why we charge just £6 per lesson . Our teaching is of the highest quality and we ensure our students get a lot of personal attention. We offer a friendly environment that caters to beginners, but don’t worry – if your a seasoned vet, we like competitions and medals too.

Affordable Jiu Jitsu
We charge just £6 for a lesson that is an hour and a half long – with discounts if you make 3 classes in the same calendar week. You can train as little or as often as you want.
High Quality Training
Please don’t think that affordable BJJ means that our teaching isn’t of the highest quality. We are constantly making an effort effort to expand our knowledge and teaching philosophies. Our students get a lot of individual attention and personal development. We train under renowned black belt Jack Magee.
Relaxed
We shy away from a lot of the traditional formalities that BJJ and martial arts tend to encourage. We have a traditional belt system but that is about it. You can often find our white belts mocking the senior belts and having a laugh – at the end of the day we are all mates and are here to help each other progress.
